The DoubleTree in Little Rock is my favorite hotel in the country--and I've stayed a lot of places. I like the location, newly renovated rooms, the club lounge, the business center, exercise room, covered parking, and--most of all-- the people. The people who work here are unfailingly nice and friendly. That includes everyone--from the cleaning and maintenance staff I meet on the elevator, to the front desk staff and gals who run the club room. One of the best things about the DoubleTree is they don't nickel and dime people to death. All of the things I mentioned above are free--plus a chocolate chip cookie at check-in (which I take home to my wife because I'm on a diet!). I've probably stayed at every Hilton family hotel in Arkansas at one time or another, and this is my favorite. One gal, who works at your front desk, even offered to let me borrow her iPhone charger, when I thought I had left mine at home. This note is just to followup to the brief conversation we had at your hotel during my recent visit with the Soaring Society of America.
I can’t tell you enough what an incredible job your team did to ensure the success of the program and the enjoyment of the members’ stay. As I mentioned I do about 100 meetings a year and the service I observed and experienced at your property was some of the best.
To cite only a few specific examples:
- One evening I saw a member checking in and Laura at the front desk offered to take the guest’s luggage to his room so he could join his friends in the bar. This group definitely enjoyed the bar!
- Velva and your front desk team did everything they could to move one of our elderly board to a less challenging suite. Although he did not take them up on it, the concern and the efforts they exerted on SSA’s behalf were commendable.
There are many more things that happened and the SSA staff are sending their own thank you notes to
share them with you. Hope you enjoy hearing all the good stuff!

The hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, looks great. The rooms are modern and comfortable with excellent views of the city or river. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
